A couple of weeks ago, I went to a wonderful place with my family in our private car to celebrate my mom's birthday. This place is located 100 km away from our town, and we got there in 3 hours. It had a crystal-clear river where we could swim. We could see the beautiful sunset and enjoy the good atmosphere since the weather was warm. For me, the most memorable thing was cooking our traditional food, namely palo, with my dad. On the other hand, we also made my mom's favorite cake, which is called bona, and we spent 1 hour preparing it. However, we couldn't do it well, and my mom cried when she saw it, but she was proud of us for trying to make it. I think this is a memorable moment for me because I spent time with my family, and I gained a good experience in cooking and baking a cake.
