A memorable trip I took recently was to Rajasthan along with my friends Ardra and Aishwarya. So Rajasthan is in found is present in the western part of India and it’s a majoritilly a desert and you can find in Rajasthan many forts and architectural structures that date back to 3000-4000 years. In fact most of the colonial majors in India have had created a fort there. So when we went to Rajasthan we visited three cities. The first city is Jaipur. It’s known as the Pink city because most of the buildings you find there are of that brownish pinkish shade hence the name and in Jaipur we visited a museum. We went to city palace. It was really nice and then we also visited a place called Jandar Mandar where there were a lot of structures that could depict time and in fact gave an insight on how people in the past used to read time and it was amazing. There was also an instrument that was used to locate the moon so that was quite enlightening. Then we went to Jodhpur which was known as the Blue city. In Jodhpur we went to a fort which was the second largest in India and in fact another thing is Jodhpur is known as the Blue city. It’s a term actually coined by Bill Gates so while he was standing on that fort he was able to see that all the roofs of the houses were blue in color so that’s why he called it the Blue city. Then on the third day we went to Udaipur. It’s called the city of lakes and the lakes there are very serene and peaceful. We took a boat ride and it’s one of the most memorable part of the entire trip and there was this hidden gem spot we found which was a memorial which was on top of a hill opposite the lake. We spent a lot of time there. It’s also a great spot to meditate if you’re into those kind of things and then we came back. Overall the trip was very memorable and it’s definitely something I’ll recommend.
