When I was in Budapest, I visited the Atatürk Monument because I am Turkish and Atatürk impressed me greatly. Atatürk is one of the most significant and important figures in all of Turkish history. This monument is not particularly magnificent or huge; it looks quite basic. It features a portrait of Atatürk's face, and there are some sentences written in Hungarian and Turkish. One of these sentences states that he is the leader of the Turks and the first president of Turkey. I like this monument because when anyone sees it, they may feel indifferent. However, when I saw this monument, I felt proud, elegant, and happy because Atatürk is so important to the Turkish people. I wondered how Atatürk impressed the Hungarian people and why they created this monument. Maybe it was his ideas, his revolution, or his courage. I don't know which one it is, but perhaps it is all of them. I know that almost all presidents, and indeed many people, are impressed by his ideas.
