The Wallet of the Wolves is a popular Turkish series that was originally aired in 2003. This movie is now for its intense action, deep exploration of Turkish society and geopolitics. And the main character of the movie is Polat Alimdar, part of it by famous actor Necdet Isheşmaz. Actually Polat starts as an undercover agent who works for the Turkish National Intelligence Organization, but after receiving an order from his superior, he undergoes a facial surgery and enters the fallout of the mafia. His mission is to eliminate the mafia from Turkey. I believe that Polat Alimdar is man of his words because throughout his dangerous journey, he faces a lot of struggles and loses, he even loses his parents, friends and wife, but he never gives up. He remains loyal to his mission and his nation. In the end of the movie, he successfully completes his task, which destroying the mafia from Turkish society. I believe that Polat Alimdar is an example of someone who loves his nation more than his family and friends. Actually, I’ve watched this movie in summer and it took me about 2 months to finish it. Also, I always watch it with my friends as the storyline is quite complex. I mean, if you cannot understand even one scene, you cannot catch the real meaning of The Wallet. I want to watch this movie again because it totally valuable lessons such as being one, such as loving one’s nation and how to respond and others show disrespect. Therefore, The Wallet of The Wallet is the best film I have ever seen.
