I'd like to talk about a movie I watched recently called SORE AWAY FROM THE FUTURE. It's an Indonesian film directed by Yandie Lawrence, who is well known for his emotionally driven storytelling. I watched this movie about a week after its premiere at a cinema near my house. I didn't go alone; I watched it with my younger brother, which made the experience more enjoyable because we could discuss the story afterward. The film combines romance and science fiction, which I found surprisingly well balanced. It tells the story of a woman who travels from the future to the past in order to change her husband's fate.
