Well, throughout my life, I have spent half of my years in Shikhar Mahal, where I spent my childhood and teenage years. Later on, I moved to a big city, but my heart remains in Shikhar Mahal because I spent my best days there. Shikhar Mahal is a small village located in Borla Khama, Oluwaza. The people are very innocent, and they have a very low standard of living, but still, everyone is so satisfied with their circumstances. Everyone is so happy. I clearly remember those days when electricity was a curse for us. We had to wait for four to five hours for electricity. Every evening, there was a power cut, and my mother used to light a candle, and we would start our evening with a tea party with Paratha, a very special local food that we used to bring from the local market. That's how we started our evening, waiting for electricity for five hours, and then finally, when the electricity turned on, we would have dinner. On weekends, all the neighbors and villagers would watch movies together. That was the best time of my life. We watched movies every weekend, and although there were long commercial breaks, we had to wait, and our wait was worthwhile because we loved those movies. We cherished the time we spent together with the other villagers. There were no complaints about anything. Every neighbor helped each other. Everyone was like a brother or sister to us. We played together, and that was the time when I experienced the innocence of my life. I was living a free life, free from negativity and worry, and my neighbors were so cooperative with each other that we still remember those days and feel proud to have been a part of that.
