If I had the opportunity to develop a new cloud-type environment, I could propose a waste separation law for every household. This will help families sort their waste into three categories: recyclable materials like paper and plastic, food waste, and non-recyclable waste. Through multiple obstacles, each household would be provided with color-coded bins for waste collection. Each type of waste would be picked up on specific days. This law brings significance to how we manage waste by separating trash at the source, with some of the materials being sent to recycling facilities. Organic waste could be used to create compost or biogas. This could not only reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills but also help ensure valuable resources are recovered. I think this law would gain support from environmentally aware individuals. It might take time for everyone to adapt to a more sustainable approach, but with good awareness and open-mindedness, it can happen. Should I discount waste collection fees for families who comply with the law, the added incentive will encourage participation in waste management efforts in my country. I will model it after Japan, where waste separation has been strictly enforced for years, resulting in cleaner cities and higher recycling rates.
