If I were in a position to introduce a new law in our country, I would propose a law making it mandatory for every homeowner to plant at least ten trees on their property and prohibiting the cutting of trees without permission from the relevant authorities. Ideally, every country should have at least 33% forest cover, ensuring a natural balance. However, our country has less than that. Implementing this mandatory rule would help us create a greener environment and make our country a better place to live. While implementing this law might not be easy, as some homeowners might not be interested or might complain about a lack of space, I believe that awareness campaigns and incentives for a healthy environment would help people understand the importance of this law. Over time, it could gain popularity. There is no alternative to planting trees and maintaining a healthy environment.
