Well, this is an interesting topic and I would like to talk about Eric, a friend of mine. He comes from a family with members from different nations around the world. As a kid, he started to learn numerous languages through his family members. Not too long ago, I hung out with him at a cafe and we chatted for hours. He shared with me that he could speak five languages including Vietnamese, Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean. We shared a lot of our methods of studying a language. For instance, he suggested me to watch movies or videos or listen to conversations between people to learn a language more efficiency, more efficient. Additionally, recently he won a language competition which made me really proud of him. Moreover, we also share about our daily routine and I was really fascinated by his schedule every day. So as it is summer now he is off from school. Every day he spent about five to six hours studying any foreign language. He practiced through online resources and he sometimes come outside to big cities for example Ho Chi Minh City to meet with the country, I’m sorry, to meet the foreigners to practice his communication skills and he invited me to join him this weekend for his English conversations with some foreigners in District 1, which I am really looking forward to that.
