A person I immediately think of who is highly skilled at learning languages is my younger sister, Liza Zahon. She is in seventh grade at school, and because we grew up in the same household, we obviously have known each other since childhood, and I even took part in teaching her some skills sometimes. Liza is genuinely proficient in multiple languages. Besides our native language, she speaks Russian fluently and advanced English, and a little bit of Korean, due to our school's orientation. She manages to learn English despite being really busy with her studies and extra classes. I believe my younger sister is particularly effective at picking up new languages due to several key factors. She does not just study grammar specifically. She makes a lot of effort to find a lot of media in the language she is learning and surrounds herself with it. She has high motivation and a clear purpose. Overall, her ability to communicate effortlessly with people from different backgrounds is quite impressive. I really admire her and feel proud of myself for having such a talented sibling.
