Honestly, nowadays it is very difficult to find a person who actually cares about nature. Today I would like to mention one such person that I know. He is my neighbour, Mr. Sharma. He is a retired biology teacher in his early 70s I think. He has dedicated a significant amount of his life towards research in environment and nature. The most inspiring thing about him is probably his backyard. He has been able to completely transform his backyard into a functional miniature nature reserve, complete with trees, plants and flowering species of nature as well. He keeps a detailed log of the production that his garden produces every year, the wildlife that visits there and the complete ecosystem that has been maintained throughout the year. Not only that, he is a passionate teacher as well. He likes to give talks about importance of environment and its conservation in our local schools and community centers. Moreover, in the community, he often collaborates with local authorities to initiate clean-up drives in our society and also hold tree planting workshops for the children. This helps inculcating a habit of environment conservation in children at an early age. All of these things make Mr. Sharma a very admirable person. His unwavering dedication towards environment conservation and nature loving aspect of his life set a prime example in today's society. He's not just a passionate gardener, but a catalyst of change in our community today.
