I would like to talk about my grandfather who is in his 70s. He is a retired engineer who spent most of his career working for a large manufacturing company. Even though he is no longer working, he remains very active and spend his time hard working. He always enjoyed working with his hands and making things. He has created a wide range of items such as furniture, toys and decorative pieces. And I even remember when I was a child he made our dollhouse with intricate details for me. My grandfather finds satisfaction and fulfillment in the process of creating things with his own hands. He enjoys the challenge of taking a piece of raw wood and transforming it into something useful. He also finds this work relaxing and I think it’s a good way for him to stay mentally and physically active. I admire the way he lives his life. He is a role model to me in many ways especially because of his dedication to his work and his ability to find joy and purpose in his creations.
