She always had her nose buried in books. She’s in her early 70s but seems more mature. I first became aware of her love reading when we were in primary school. While others were playing, talking and having fun, she would sit in the quiet corner with a book on her lap. Her collection is impressive, featuring everything from fantasy novels to classical literature, which reflects her diverse interests in reading. She especially enjoys reading fantasy and historical fiction. When historical fiction which enhances her imagination and her deeply curiosity about the past, for her reading is not just a hobby, it’s a form of self-discovery and a way to explore social issues through different perspectives. All in all, her love for reading allows her to continuously grow and evolve, which I truly admire. And so I always give her new books for her birthday.
