One person I know who would like to pursue a career in the medical field is my childhood friend Tee. We grew up in the same neighborhood and first met when we were in the kindergarten. When our teacher arranged us to sit next to each other, we spent most of our childhood together and we have been good friends for nearly 13 years. She started thinking seriously about becoming a doctor when her grandmother became seriously ill a few years ago. During that difficult time, she spent a lot of time in the hospital and saw how doctors work tirelessly to care for patients. Their dedication inspired her deeply and since then she has dreamed of working in healthcare. She would like to become a better pediatrician because she loves children and wants to help them stay healthy. She believes that caring for young patients would not only be meaningful, but also rewarding. To achieve this goal, she studies biology and chemistry very hard, and is determined to enter medical school in the future. I truly admire Chi for her decision. I think choosing a medical career is challenging because it requires intelligence, compassion. Her determination to have others make me respect her even more. In my opinion, she has the right qualities to become an excellent doctor and fully support her dream.
