I would love to talk about a person I met only once, but would genuinely like to know more about. He was a philosophy graduate and I met him at a book fair a few months ago. I was there with one of my friends who had a stand where she was selling books from her own publishing house. While I was looking through some of the books, I started talking to this man because he had translated one of the philosophy books published by my friend's publishing house into Azerbaijani. We started with a fairly casual conversation, but it quickly became much more interesting than I expected. We talked about philosophy, literature, and psychology, which are subjects I have been interested in for quite a long time. At one point we started discussing Dostoevsky and Nietzsche and I was particularly interested in his perspective on their ideas. I remember thinking that he looked at these authors from a slightly different angle rather than simply thinking about their most well-known ideas. Unfortunately, our conversation was quite short because there were other people around the stand and we both had other things to do. However, I found him very thoughtful and intellectually curious and I felt that there was much more we could have talked about if we had more time. The main reason I would like to meet him again is that I would want to know more about him and I would love to continue that conversation. I would especially like to hear his thoughts on existentialism, human nature, and the connection between philosophy and psychology. I also think conversations with people who have completely different perspectives can broaden your own way of thinking. Although I only met him once, I came away feeling quite intrigued by him. I wouldn't say I know him personally at all, but I definitely felt that he was someone I could have a really meaningful conversation with, and that's why I would genuinely like to meet him again.
