So I’m someone that always listens to advice but one piece of advice that I chose not to follow was I think it was last year when Sister Joy confronted me about my relationship with my ex and she asked me to reconcile, she advised me to reconcile with him and I chose not to follow through with the advice. This is because my ex boyfriend had a questionable character. He lies a lot and even when you catch him red-handed, he would deny immediately. So I couldn’t go ahead with the relationship with him. I didn’t want to continue putting up with his lies and his attitude so I decided to let bygones be bygones and I didn’t follow true with advice. It affected our relationship during that time but I didn’t really care because it wouldn’t be nice to sacrifice your happiness just to make someone else feel good. So it affected my relationship with sister Joy. But we’re good now. She understands who he is. He’s married. Just a couple of weeks after I said no to him and all of that, he moved on. So it was clear that he had already moved on before the whole breakup.
