The other day, I came across a YouTube video. The girl was named The Woodard Liz. She is a person who tries to help herself and others on this platform. She shoots videos with her advice on life topics. One piece of advice she frequently shared in her videos was about letting people be themselves, and in particular, letting you be yourself. This advice has really changed my perspective because I had never actually thought about it for a long time. It turned out to be the best advice I've received in life because when you allow other people to be themselves, you tend not to judge them or talk badly about them. You just accept the way they behave, and that will actually help you to be yourself because you are not trying to change yourself either. When I first heard it, the realization came to me that, in fact, it's true. Then I started to allow myself to express my true emotions and my true opinions. That actually helped me to be open to other people, and if it wasn't for this video, I probably wouldn't be this open now.
