Just a few days ago my friend’s research proposal got accepted by the UNI authority. This is for him to skip the research course because he’s already done the proposal so there’s no need to take it. um he was really excited and texted me right away when he received the announcement from the department and at that moment I was really happy for him but what really struck me the most is that a little bit of jealousy popping up in my mind. Yeah, so I believe that my ego automatically compared itself to his achievement. It would ask me that why not me like this? So it makes me feel on comfy and a little bit envious. Yeah. It was still a good news to me because first of all my best friend got the best score for this research course with flying colors and also I had a chance to practice mindfulness because you know aware of our own emotion is a very first step for us to become a mindful people and self-enhanced self-awareness so yeah it’s still a good news for me.
