So I really like the countryside and fortunately last year me and my class got the chance to do volunteer work at a small village in Bikua, Taiwan province, which is quite far from my hometown, Taiwan City. It is a mountainous region that is north of Taiwan City and is very impoverished compared to the city. Therefore, me and my classmates decided to gather together for fun and go there to volunteer for students at a school called Tentik Primary School. There we start out with a performance by introducing ourselves and perform a popular dance at our school. After the performance, we decide to visit the various homes around the area where we provide support using our labor. For example, we can’t fill for them and we clean up the house or take care of the children or the livestock. After finishing helping them, we give them monetary support and by letting them use public transport for free and provide them free education. We stayed there for around 3 days and we visited around 10 houses. It was very calming and scenery was very beautiful where we also get to enjoy and party with various local animals and enjoy various dynamic seats there. Overall, after going home, me and my classmates really enjoyed the trip.
