This peaceful setting offered a perfect escape from hustle and bustle of the city life. I vividly remember visiting this house with my family members and relatives long ago during the Navros holiday. It was a special occasion when we all gathered together to make our national and traditional meal sumalak. This process, the whole process was filled with happiness, joy, laughter and sense of togetherness making it an unforgettable experience. Looking back I feel a bittersweet about this spot because on one hand it holds most of my cherished childhood memories and being there was like stepping into a time capsule. On the flip side moving away and knowing we can’t go there anymore brings sadness.
