One place in my hometown that has changed a lot is the school where I studied. It’s in Ayagos and my younger sister is still studying there now. I visited the school recently after not seeing it for a long time. Before the school looked quite old and simple, the classrooms were darker, the equipment was outdated, and there were not many modern facilities for students. However, after I graduated, the school went through a major renovation. Almost everything has changed. The classrooms are brighter and more modern. There are new computers and some new teachers have joined the school. The whole building feels much more comfortable and modern than before. I think the change is mostly positive because the new students have much much better conditions for learning. At the same time I felt a little jealous and emotional when I saw the new school. It seemed that everything became modern right after my graduation. I also met some of my former teachers and I noticed that they had change and become a little older. Seeing that made me feel a bit nostalgic and sad even so I’m happy that the school has improved and that my sister can study in a better environment now.
