One time where I visited a place that completely exceeded my expectations was when I went to a camp called Renaissance around March last year. It was located next to a really mountainous area with a river next to it. So the nature was quite astonishing itself. It was also in a really high altitude area. So the air was really great. I visited it last year in March after I completed my exams and I passed the exam and that's why I went to the camp. It was a reward for the exam and before going to the camp I just expected a really plain campus and a really plain curriculum for lessons that we would have in the camp but I was really pleasantly surprised when I arrived there. As a place was really wonderful, the nature was astonishing and the people were nice and the subjects that we had to learn turned out to be really entertaining and fun at the end and our teachers were amazing as well so it was quite a surprise not from one single aspect but from so many and one thing that I clearly remember about getting my expectations exceeded is our dorm. I expected to live in a really small area with nothing like convenient in it but we were given a room with a quite large balcony with an astonishing view on the forest. There was also a forest next to the camp that we and the balcony was my place where I could chill and just drift off to the nature. I would stare at trees and just wonder about life in that balcony.
