I had just finished my project as a part of the third year in a university when my mentor suggested that I formatted as a scientific article and tried to publish it. I contemplated this suggestion, uh, for a while. I thought that I had a plenty of time at that moment because it was somewhere and I had no obligatory studies. Additionally, I considered it a great opportunity to participate in the contest of scientific works. Finally, I decided that I was ready to risk some of my free time for the chance of a publication in a scientific journal. So I started working on the article by writing its text and conducting experiments to support my hypothesis. When the work was finished, I sent it to the committee and waited for the result. I had honestly no hope for the acceptance of my work. However, a few months later, I received an electronic letter which said that my work had been award. While reading this letter, my hands were literally shaking as I was beside myself with excitement and happiness over all, I am glad that I was brave enough to take the risk which resulted in the start of my academic career.
