I would like to discuss an outdated rule in society, especially in some societies, particularly in Iran, which is the marriage and dowry system. The dowry system is financial support for women to survive when they want to leave or break up their connection and bond with their partner and finalize an unhappy marriage. This divorce has several disadvantages. One of the main issues is the undervaluation of women in society. This view suggests that a woman's value is dependent on financial support. They need to give up their financial support, which is a hefty amount of money, to be able to leave. So, I think this outdated and unfair rule should be changed. If it is changed, women will be more valued in society and will be happier, marrying with more reliance on their relationships without any abuse.
