I would like to talk about a skill but I learned it outside of school and it is actually swimming. If I’m not mistaken, I learned this skill when I was 8 or 9 years old. My parents used to go to the swimming pool and they took us with my sister with them. and it requires some time for me to learn the skill on the ground. I was just really young and I didn’t know the correct structures, how to swim, how to breathe under the water, and how to open my eyes. And then after some time, I mastered it really well and it turned out it was pretty easy. It was just a piece of cake. And then I realized that this skill was just really essential. On the ground, one of the basic reasons is that it can save someone’s life. Or just simply for entertainment, to have fun with your close people. In my point of view, this skill should be taught teaching in schools on the ground that how I mentioned it can save someone’s life. I think we didn’t have some equipment in our schools such as swimming pool, appropriate teachers. Obviously we have PE but it doesn’t have some kind of practical life-saver lessons. So schools should take responsibility for it and make some swimming pools and teach their children how to save someone’s life.
