I will talk about a skill that I learned when I was around 7 years old. And the person was my dad who taught me how to ride a bicycle. I vividly remember that I was so eager to master this skill, because most of the children in my neighborhood already knew how to ride a bicycle. And remember that it didn't just happen in one day; my father helped me to master this skill gradually. Like, first day he bought me a small bicycle and it had training wheels. He just encouraged me to learn how to balance myself, how to use brakes. After a few days he just removed the training wheels and held the back of my bicycle. It just gave me the confidence that I would not fall down. And after that, my father let the bicycle go and I realized that I was riding the bicycle on my own. I felt a sense of accomplishment and I was just so happy. And because I fell down many times and I was really frustrated, and sometimes I decided, okay, I will not go for that. But my dad always encouraged me to continue and not give up. And now, even now, whenever I feel that I can't do something or I face some setbacks, I remember that moment and it really helps me to go.
