I paid less attention to things and gave less meaning to what's happening around me. Not to say that I'm out of touch, but whenever you keep minding everything, suddenly everything becomes your business. Of course, that would affect you so much and negatively. I realized that when, for instance, I rode an Uber, a Grab, and the Grab driver wasn't in a good mood. That instantly affected me because I wondered why he wasn't in a good mood. It's such a nice day. So that affected me a lot, and I became out of the mood because of that. When I got home, I realized, why did that affect me so much? After that experience, I suddenly became grumpy all day. When I came home, I realized that it was such a simple thing that shouldn't have affected me. As I was scrolling through TikTok, I saw a post that said I shouldn't put meaning into almost everything that happens in my life. Everyone has their life going on, and the world doesn't revolve around me. That hit me so much that I realized, right, not everything revolves around me. I don't need to think that everything that happens is because of me. I just have to internalize and reflect on what's happening in my life. If I keep thinking that I'm the reason for everything, then that would ruin my mood every single day. There's a lot more to the world than being sad and negative. Let's just be more... neglectful, maybe?
