I would like to talk about the holiday Novos, which is celebrated in our country. Novos is a holiday about spring. It's celebrated not only in my country but also in every Turkic country, like Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and some others. It's a celebration marking the arrival of spring. The real reason for this holiday is to welcome the new season. I can say that it's a very colorful, enjoyable, and at the same time, a lively holiday because it's cozy; every member of your family gathers together to celebrate with you and your closest people, especially your immediate relatives. During this holiday, we especially grow a plant called Semani. We also cook a lot of traditional meals and cakes like pahla vah and shekhar gula, which are really delicious. We have some traditions that are a little similar to Halloween, where children go to homes and ask for sweets. One of my favorite traditions is jumping over the fire. I find it very entertaining.
