Recently, I read a book about Ponine Selvon from my college days because I heard a story about Ponine Selvon that they made a film about. It was a story that expressed the feelings of kings and queens. The story was about how kings and queens struggled during their time, how they faced war situations, how they managed their feelings, and how they saved their crowns. The story unfolds like that. I liked that it started with a brief note about the area where they lived. It begins in Thanchur, with the view of Vandya Thevan, who goes to Trichy to meet Kunda Vai and delivers a note from her brother, Karigala Cholan. The story revolves around Vandya Thevan, Kunda Vai, and Ponine Selvon, who was Aralmuli Varman, and Karigala Cholan. They are the main characters, and the leading character was Nandini, who was the evil character. The movie continues like that, and I was very happy to see that the film expressed a lot about that historical period. The story was really interesting and very romantic too. They faced war struggles, and it was fascinating to hear and see.
