I have just graduated with a degree in history, and with the emerging social trends, I am pretty sure that it is vital to have an understanding of AI technology. I believe that in the future, AI will play an integral part in our lives. AI will almost dominate the entire workforce and technology, so we need to understand how this technology works and how we can contain it. Additionally, we also need to learn how not to become completely dependent on it. If we do, we could possibly lose our creativity, our social connections, and, most importantly, the superiority we exercise over other species. When you think about it, it seems really scary, as we humans are not the strongest, fastest, or biggest on the planet. We are the smartest; we exercise our authority over other species. But now there is someone else who is smarter than us and could be more creative than us. So we have to ensure that this someone will not exercise their authority over us. For that, I believe it is vital for almost everyone to understand how this technology works. More importantly, without AI literacy, most people cannot even engage in society in the future. That's how important it is to learn AI technology. I believe that in the future, learning AI will almost be like learning a language that everyone must speak.
