So when I was in Europe, I picked up an interesting habit of not getting plastic bags in stores, because there in Europe, plastic bags actually cost money and are quite expensive. So I got used to bringing my own shopper or just carrying things in my hands to my home. But when I came back to Kazakhstan, I am still doing this. I got used to carrying things in my hands, though I just say to the cashiers, I don't need the bag. I don't know why I'm still doing this, because plastic bags are actually free here, but I think it benefits the environment. I'm not using plastic bags, and as we all know, plastic bags don't get really recycled in Kazakhstan and they just get thrown away. I think I'm helping the environment with that, and I will keep doing this because it's the best habit I got in the last five years.
