I would like to share an experience where I was misunderstood by someone and later on they apologized to me. It was during a marathon that I have participated a year ago and it was a function where we have to organize for an voluntary and NGO work. There we were walking along and it was a trial round and where I was wandering off and when I came across a bench I wanted to sit there for relaxation and taking a breath and I saw that someone has forgotten their phone over there. So as a responsible citizen I picked up that phone and wanted to discover the owner of it. So when I was going to discover for that and I thought that I must go to the organization lost and found department that they will help me and sort out the problem. So when I was on my way and somebody came to me and told me that this is their phone so I was not trusting or some stranger person that was asking that it was my phone. It was an elder person who was claiming that phone to be his. But later on then I discovered that he did not know about the password. I thought that it would be sensible that I ask them about the password and the original color so that I don’t end up giving it to somebody else. So they shouted at me and got angry that I am not giving their phone and it all led to a dispute and a quarrel that was nowhere to be settled. Later on when I discovered their longmates they told me that the person suffer from memory loss at time being so that he don’t know about his phone and even his password. So then I inquired earlier and gave them their phone but later on I felt very much stunned and also very shockable experience for me because it never happened that I have helped somebody and they don’t have even apologized to me. I understand that there was a problem but later on the old person was very genuine and he apologized to me and wanted to say sorry about his behavior and told me about his problem as a medical profession. I understand that he was suffering from some sort of problem but later on when he apologized to me I really felt calmed and relieved.
