I will talk about a time I changed my opinion about English exams. I changed this opinion about 2 years ago when I started preparing for the English exams. At first, I always thought that English was only useful for passing exams in school. And I had a misconception that spending too much time learning English is unnecessary because I thought you rarely use it in real life. However, everything changed after my English teacher encouraged me to study English. During the preparation for the exam, I changed my mindset and revised my whole reason. So I realized English will help me open up many opportunities like studying abroad and finding better jobs or communicating with people from different countries. So I stepped outside my comfort zone and I speak English every day to gain confidence and improve my communication skills. Looking back, this is one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's not only improved my English, but also it's completely changed the way I think about English. And so I never regretted that decision because it will help me have a more open mind about learning new things.
