However, I stayed patient and told him that we could start with just a 10 minute walk and slowly increase the distance. Eventually he agreed to try it for one week and to surprise he actually started to enjoy the fresh air and the sense of achievement. I encouraged him because I was worried about his health and I wanted him to feel more confident in himself. Now he is much more active and even thanks me for pushing him to start that new habit. I feel very happy that I could help him make such a positive change in his life.
