One significant change I had to adapt to was moving from college life to university life. It happened in 2022 when I started my undergraduate studies at the University of Rajshahi. The change occurred mainly because I had finished my A levels and had to leave my family environment in Dhaka and move to Rajshahi for university. Everything felt different at first. I had to live away from my family, manage my own life, attend classes independently, and take responsibility for my studies and daily life. Initially, I found it quite difficult because college life was much more structured. At university, nobody was constantly reminding me about assignments, classes, or exams. I also had to meet completely new people and build a new social circle from scratch. However, after a few months, I gradually adapted and became more independent and started getting involved in activities like debate and resource volunteering and different student organizations. These activities helped me make friends and become more confident. Looking back, I actually feel grateful for the change. Although it was uncomfortable in the beginning, it pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me become much more independent and responsible. I think it was one of the changes that had the biggest impact on my personal growth.
