Band 8+: Describe a time when you helped a child.

I always believe that helping others is a rewarding thing, and it brings joy and satisfaction to both the giver and the receiver. Today, I would like to talk about one incident when I helped a child. I vividly remember that six months ago, my community organized a cleanup event in my neighborhood. While the event was going on, I noticed a young boy, probably around seven years old, looking nervous and anxious. He was standing alone near the main entrance. I asked him if he was alright. He told me that he had lost his parents. I immediately calmed him down by talking to him softly and assuring him that we would find his parents soon. Then, I called one of the event organizers to make an announcement through the loudspeaker. Within about ten minutes, his parents arrived, looking very worried but extremely relieved to find him safe. I helped him mainly because he was scared and vulnerable. Moreover, I would like to say that losing a child for ten minutes is very terrifying for both the child and the parents. I felt very happy and proud after helping him. It reminded me that small actions can make a huge difference in someone's life.
