People love to receive and give gifts. In Indian culture, it's common for relatives to give money to their close family members. Today, I'd like to share an experience of mine where I received money as a gift. It was on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters. I am a single child, but I tie rakhis to my cousin brothers. I tie rakhis to two brothers, and one of them gave me money on Raksha Bandhan. Brothers often give gifts to their sisters to show love and acknowledge the special bond they share. Every year, my cousin brother gives me various kinds of jewelry. But this time, he gave me Rs. 5000. I was very happy because I wanted to buy a pair of branded shoes. My previous pair was torn and the color was faded. So, I bought a new pair of shoes from Nike. The shoes were very comfortable and easy for walking.
