I only explained the basics of the game, like the moment of the pair. The next day I taught him about the bishop, knight and other pieces. Step by step, in an easy way, eventually he memorized it. I was really proud of him. After managing that challenging task, I felt a sense of relief and satisfaction. In his first game, I went easy on him. He could win and feel proud of himself. His confidence grieved. It was amazing to teach my brother something as complex as chess. We still play chess together. It’s really enjoyable.
