When thinking of the time when I actually didn’t use it the most efficiently, I feel like I would think of the times when I was in high school. Most people would probably say that they wasted time on doing something else rather than studying, but for me, I felt like during my high school years, I actually spend too many times on studying and doing homework rather than actually living a life. It happened back in grade 10 where I would choose not to go out of my home and would just go straight back to my home after classes just to study or revise the materials if there some upcoming quizzes even though the quiz is like two weeks away so I feel like I missed out a lot of opportunity and missed out a lot of good memories that could be built with my friends. During that first year during my grade 10, I felt like I wasn’t really connecting with my friends because all I do was studying and I would bury interact with them or talk to them so they would would just will me as someone who’s nerdy or someone who’s just very introverted and would just stay in my house or something like that. I feel like you only leave your high school life once and what you should do is actually leaving a life building on building more connections and actually gain more experiences even though it’s not necessary have to be like going out to restaurants or or shopping malls, it could just be some like work opportunity like internships, which my school actually will make us do. But yeah, I chose just to study at home and do nothing. And the reason why I didn’t actually leave my life is that I have this fear of failure that if I don’t study I would regret it for the rest of my life and that I actually want everything to be perfect. I would say that I’m quite a perfectionist so everything that I do I want my grade to be perfect rather than just spending time with my friends.
