I think I should definitely speak about my skills of learning Korean language. I learned it for two years. That was quite some times ago. But I’ve been learning it since I was 14. I’m not really advanced yet. However, it got really easy to me to just speak and read and try to write. Maybe it was because I felt very drawn to this language and to this culture. I needed to learn it because I had to speak to my boyfriend because he is a Korean person. and I also went to vacation there last August and I felt the need that if I go to a foreign country then I have to get along well with people from there and if I want to go somewhere alone then I have to speak and I know that Korean people don’t really know English. I learned it quickly because mainly I was using a textbook that helped me with my grammar and then I was just speaking to myself for painting this grammar all the time, all the patterns and I memorized them quickly. However, I think that the biggest help that I could get was from my boyfriend. We would speak every day and Everyone knows that practice beats theory so for this everyday small talks I could improve and I could speak Korean way better than other people that try to focus more on the writing side. I feel very grateful that I got the chance to learn Korean so quickly and this made me realize that I am very capable of learning so many other languages and this skill will help me in my future a lot.
