Due to the uncertainty and the war in Lebanon, my family and I were forced to relocate and move to Dubai for a couple of months. The time that I received such shocking news, which I had been anticipating for such a long time, was when my parents came up to me and told me that they finally booked the tickets for us to return to my home country. This news was delivered to me by my parents, and I was in such shock that I started jumping around our hotel room. I was hollering. I was showing extreme excitement because I was so eager to return to the soil that shaped who I am, that shaped my identity, and leaving it was really hard. I had to distance myself from my friends, distance from my family, distance from my school, distance from everything, and this caused a really difficult time because I felt super claustrophobic, constantly being trapped in my hotel room. So once I got the opportunity to go back home and realized that this was actually something that was going to happen soon, I was really excited because I got to see my friends again. I experienced feelings that I had been longing for for such a long time, and due to this, I feel like that moment will be forever engraved in my mind. It will be a memory that I would never forget, and those words coming out of my parents' mouths had a lasting impact on me because it's a constant reminder that everything happens for a reason and that I got home safely. I got the benefits of both things, and it also constantly reminds me that there's always a positive side to everything. We should always look at the bright side because once we do, good things will happen. In a way, we are anticipating a future that is full of prosperity and success.
