India is rich in diversity, and many places are quite famous and attractions for tourists worldwide. I would like to share one such place that is worth mentioning, but many people are not aware of it. It is located in Kangra village in Himachal Pradesh. It is also called Patutiladi. There is a cluster of temples there. The unique and interesting thing is that most of the time, they are submerged in water. They are only accessible to the public for about four months each year. Many people are not aware of this place because, as I mentioned, most of the year the temple is not open and is submerged in the Pong Dam. It is usually visible to the public when the water level recedes. There are many different stories about it. Some people say that it was built by a local king who ruled that region, while others believe it was built by the Pandavas. They built a staircase that leads to heaven, but Indra intervened in the process. There is still a staircase, but it is not accessible to the general public and is usually blocked by stones. There is a main temple devoted to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. When I visited there, I was really ecstatic to learn about its story and origin. It was a trip to remember for a lifetime.
