Hiva is a historic city in western Uzbekistan, which is famous for well-preserved ancient architecture. It’s UNESCO World Heritage Site and it’s famous for city called Icancala surrounded by walls and which had a lot of beautiful masks, madrasahs and minarets. I went there with my family. We had all been interested in history and culture of our country. So he was in the perfect destination because of its rich heritage and stunning architecture. Traveling with my family made the trip even more enjoyable as we could explore together and share our impressions of the city. During the trip we walked through narrow streets of Ichankala, visited Kaltaminor Minaret and Juma Mosque. We also spent our time traveling through local bazaars, so-called open-air markets, trying to make traditional food and admiring the cravings on doors and walls. The patterns were so sophisticated and impressed me. I would love to make this trip again because there is so much to experience, to see. And returning could allow me to explore the hidden corners of Hiva.
