An ambition that I’ve harbored for a long time is to open my own independent bookstore coffee. It has been a dream of mine since my high school years. Combining my deep passion for literature with my love for creating warm welcoming spaces where people can gather, relax, and share the ideas. To turn this long-term ambition I’ve been taking several systematically practical steps for the internship so in saving my portion of my income I capital for the business plan. Beyond this financial aspect, I’ve dedicated a lot of time to learning the ropes of entrepreneurship. I completed an online course in a small business and I frequently visit independent coffee shops and bookstores to product, where to study, their layouts, customer service, strategies, and product offerings. I’ve also started drafting a preliminary business plan. I’ve also started for the gaining a bit more hands-on experience in hospitality or retail management before officially launching, which will ensure a smoother start. I hold on this abatement because I believe that local communities need more physical hops that encourage slow living and face-to-face interaction. I wanted to establish a cozy haven filled with the aroma of fresh coffee and the comfort of books, played at Hostess local book clubs, poetry readings and acoustic music nights. Achieving this dream wouldn’t only fulfill me creatively and professionally, but it would also allow me to give something meaningful.
