I believe it would be quite challenging, especially for a student like me who had several interests. This was mainly because it required careful concentration of my strengths, long-term goals, and the opportunities each major could offer, which doesn’t come naturally to everyone. In order to make the right choice, I first needed to research different university programs, talk to students who were already studying in those fields, and compare the career paths available for each option. In addition, listening to professional advice was absolutely essential, since choosing the wrong major can be risky and difficult to change later on. So, why did I actually make this decision? First, I have always been fascinated by tourism industry and the idea of working in an international environment which feels completely different from traditional office job. Moreover, I thought it will push me out of my comfort zone and help me develop strong communication and problem solving skills, as a result it wouldn’t just shape my education but also info the person I will become in the future. Overall choosing my field of study as a decision I generally proud of as it perfectly combines personal ambition, long-term development and the support I received from people around me.
