One of the most interesting discussions I had recently with my friend was about the future of work. We are sitting in the Koji cafe where the conversation and acceptably shifted to how technology is transforming or our job landscape. Our opinions were quite different which made the discussion even more engaging. My friend believed that remote work and digital tools are becoming the norm leading to a more flexible work, life balance. This is the potential for the work to be done from anywhere. On the other hand, I was a bit skeptical. I was worried about the insulation that could come from working remotely. After that, I was also worried about the impact of collaboration and creativity within teams. What made this conversation so interesting? What was not just the interesting views? What also how we approached the topic with curiosity and respect? We both agreed that automation could replace jobs but also create new opportunities.
