First of all, I'm very grateful for this topic. A hobby is an activity we do for pleasure in our spare time. Hobbies not only give us enjoyment and relaxation, but they also save us from idle thoughts and negative feelings. It's not a main occupation, but an engaging activity. Everyone has their own hobby. Coin collecting, stamp collecting, cycling, trekking, music, and gardening are just a few examples. But my favorite hobby is book reading. I have a small private library. My house library room is fully decorated and consists of over 200 books. I have a large collection of books on every topic, including many storybooks. I love reading stories, and my friends often visit me and enjoy reading these books as well. I read books in my spare time instead of wasting time on other activities. These books provide me with both knowledge and pleasure. A person who reads widely is able to connect with others better. They are better thinkers and speakers. Those who don't read often struggle to hold their own in conversations. Reading is also a great substitute for travel. Therefore, I love my hobby very much. My father and uncle also encouraged me to keep collecting new books. I'm proud of my hobby and I advise everyone to have a good activity like this.
