Band 8+: Describe an occasion when ayou helped a family member or relative with something

As human beings, it is our responsibility to lend helping hands to those in need. I also find immense inner satisfaction in helping others. I have assisted my close ones in various ways on several occasions. Today, I would like to talk about a time when I helped my aunt. Her name is Ramandeepkar. I vividly remember a couple of months ago when my aunt organized a surprise party for my uncle to celebrate his promotion at work. She shared her plans with me and asked for my help. Without a second thought, I immediately said yes, as I am very close to her. Firstly, I went to the market to buy some things for decorating the house while my aunt sent invitations to some close relatives and friends. We both decided to cook the food at home since we are both skilled in culinary arts. Finally, the day arrived, and we began our preparations. The party was scheduled for the evening, so during the daytime, after decorating the entire house, I helped my aunt in the kitchen. I baked a beautiful cake and prepared some snacks and various dishes. While my aunt cooked rice and other dishes in the evening, when my uncle returned home, he was completely surprised as it was unexpected for him. He hugged us tightly, overwhelmed with emotion. Soon, the guests arrived, and we both served them drinks and food. After that, my uncle cut the cake, and we all enjoyed dancing and playing games. I was over the moon to help my aunt.
