I would like to talk about an occasion when I got up extremely early because I had an important ISLES mock exam. It happened about five months ago, and I can still remember that day vividly. To be honest, I felt extremely anxious and nervous about the exam because it was really important to me. When I opened my eyes, I felt very groggy and exhausted. For a moment, I didn't want to get out of bed at all. I woke up at around 3 a.m., which was much earlier than my usual waking time. After brushing my teeth, I tried to concentrate on my studies instead of stressing too much about the exam. At first, it was quite difficult because I felt sleepy and mentally tired, but after meditating, I gradually felt less exhausted. I had several alarms the night before to make sure I would wake up on time. Even so, it was still hard for me to get up. After that, I drank a cup of coffee because it helped me feel more energetic and motivated. Actually, I tried to revise the most important information by quickly scanning my notes. Later, I went outside for a short walk to make myself feel more comfortable and relaxed. It was really peaceful outside, and the sky was still dark. At first, I was half asleep, but the cold air quickly woke me up. Overall, waking up that day early was quite challenging. I think it helped me feel more prepared and confident for my exam.
