Ultimately, I decided to wait an additional 30 minutes, reasoning that it was very important to give him a chance to arrive, given the significance of our conversation. My friend was currently employed at a company where I was eager to learn about, and the information he could provide was vital for my job search. However, as each minute ticked by without any communication from him, I began to reconsider my options. If I hadn't heard from him after this extra time, it would be best to head home. Reflecting on that experience, I realized how crucial communication and punctuality are in our lives. Waiting for an hour and a half was undoubtedly an unpleasant experience, but it also prompted me to think about what I would do if the roles were reversed. It was a moment of self-discovery as I recognized the importance of patience in such circumstances, and it has made me more mindful about being on time for others in the future.
